About My Clients
Do you experience unwanted thoughts, images, or impulses? Have you ever worried you’re “losing it,” or “going crazy” because you have these thoughts? Effectively treating anxiety (or OCD) helps you get your life back. It would be a privilege to help you get back in the driver's seat of your own life.
My Background and Approach
The tools I bring to therapy sessions are tools that I use daily as a therapist. I have completed extensive training in different modalities to treat OCD and will collaborate with you as you learn strategies for navigating and stopping anxious spirals. For several years, I have had the honor to support individuals as they learn skills to 'boss back' their anxiety and/or OCD and take control back from their thoughts. I will help you decide on an approach (ERP or I-CBT) to start with as you work on breaking free from your anxious thoughts and living your life again.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Living with OCD and/or anxiety is overwhelming but treatment doesn't have to be. My goal as a therapist is to support you in building the life you want. OCD often convinces people they can't trust themselves and I believe you are the expert of your own life - not OCD/anxiety - even on the days it doesn't feel like it.
