About My Clients
I am skilled in family therapy, and also see children and adult patients. In my journey as a professional therapist I have developed a strong knowledge of child development and sensitivity to the needs of families with children. I work with patients who have: ADHD symptoms, depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and anger management concerns. My experience has also included working with people who identify as being on the Autism Spectrum utilizing empirically supported approaches.
My Background and Approach
I have a Masters of School Social Work from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, and am trained in Trauma Focused CBT. Clients find me to be an empathetic therapist, who tries to be both sensitive and affirming of others and their personal backgrounds, and uses this knowledge of identity intersectionality to work towards growth and healing.
