As a parent myself, I understand the challenges parents face in wanting to know the best ways they can help their very unique child. It can be incredibly frustrating to find that the parenting approach you are using does not seem to be working, or even seems to be making situations much worse. It can be exhausting trying to come up with new ways of handling challenges only to find that nothing seems to work. That's where I can help! My approach is very collaborative, as I believe that parents are the true "experts" on their children. I spend a lot of time getting to know you and your child in order to provide recommendations tailored to your unique situation. I work together with you to troubleshoot your parenting approach in a way that aligns with your beliefs, values, and goals. You don't have to figure this all out on your own! I'm a Clinical Child Psychologist, and I have a true passion for working with children and adolescents. Through my many years of working with both children and their parents, I have found that I enjoy working with parents just as much. I truly believe that, as parents, we are all doing our best to help our children succeed. We may just need some guidance and support along the way - someone who can be a part of our "village" and not only help us to understand what our children are telling us with their emotions and behaviors, but also to guide us so that we feel confident that the way we handle difficult situations is the best way to help our children thrive.
