What I offer as a therapist is compassion, validation, and acceptance. I will put you first and listen to your story and your needs. I use theories based in acceptance commitment therapy (ACT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you work through this challenging time.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Society wants us to believe that becoming a parent is a storybook time in our lives. The fact is, parenthood can also be the most difficult, isolating, and confusing time. You might be thinking that you don’t know who you are anymore, or wondering if you will ever be able to focus on yourself again. Maybe you look at other parents and feel as though you don’t measure up because it looks like parenting comes easy for them. You are not alone in having these thoughts, and they don’t mean you love your child any less or that you are a bad parent.
