About My Clients
I work with adults struggling with OCD and anxiety who feel trapped in cycles of intrusive thoughts, rumination, reassurance-seeking, or avoidance. You may look fine on the outside but feel exhausted internally from constant doubt and fear. Using ERP and ACT, we reduce compulsions, build tolerance for uncertainty, and help you reconnect with your values so anxiety no longer runs your life.
My Background and Approach
I believe people can grow and change at any point in their lives. OCD, anxiety disorders, and phobias are learned patterns. What's learned can be unlearned. With the right treatment approach, real freedom from intrusive thoughts, compulsions, and avoidance is possible. Before opening my private practice, I served as a licensed clinical social worker in the U.S. Air Force for over a decade. That experience shaped how I show up as a clinician — with discipline, steadiness, and a deep respect for the courage it takes to ask for help. Outside the therapy room, I'm a mom of two, a dog (and cat) person, a traveler, and an enthusiastic sourdough baker. I ask my clients who they are and what they love because knowing you as a whole person is how we do work that actually lasts. My practice is affirming and inclusive, and I'm committed to creating a space where you feel respected, seen, and genuinely supported.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people can grow and change at any point in their lives. OCD and anxiety are learned patterns—and what’s learned can be unlearned. When you stop organizing your life around fear and start responding differently, real freedom becomes possible.
