My Background and Approach
I approach therapy with equal parts compassion and humor. I am affirming and nonjudgmental, and I strive to create a space where you can be 100% yourself. I will take the time to get to know you, and we will work together to help you identify and reach your goals. I will help you leverage your strengths and develop new skills and resources to tackle whatever life throws at you. I don’t believe that one size fits all when it comes to therapy, so I am trained in multiple effective treatment methods. Together, we can find the best type of therapy for you so you can heal from the pain and build a meaningful path forward. Reaching out for help can be difficult, but the first step is the most important. I understand that you may have all sorts of different thoughts and feelings about starting therapy. You may have even tried therapy in the past that left you feeling dissatisfied or stuck. I welcome you to come as you are, and we can work through it together.
