About My Clients
Have you recently experienced a difficult life transition? Are more of your conversations turning into arguments? Has it become increasingly difficult to communicate with your partner? Or maybe you aren't feeling understood after a conversation? Are you finding it difficult to gain traction in your relationship and are looking to regain focus and connection with your partner to start enjoying time together again? Couples counseling can provide an opportunity to prioritize those needs.
My Background and Approach
I utilize an eclectic approach to child, couple or family services pulling from play therapy, expressive therapy, and client centered techniques to provide individualized care for each client. When working with couples, I often utilize best practices learned from the Gottman’s approach to relationships, as well as assisting clients with assertive communication skills to manage conflict within the relationship. You will gain skills to communicate effectively with your partner, validate your partner and empathize with your partner’s experience, and skills to practice to show love towards one another and meet your partner’s needs.
