About My Clients
As a therapist specializing in addiction, divorce, and trauma, my ideal client would likely be someone who is motivated to make changes in their life. Someone who is open to navigate through challenges and past wounds and ready to transform those experiences into empowerment and authenticity.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach varies based on the needs of my clients. I customarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy, allowing my clients to work through life circumstances while keeping forward movement toward future goals. My style and approach are best suited for young adults through late adulthood. Since many clients come into therapy due to life transitions or low points in their life, clients often experience anxiety, depression, maladaptive behaviors, and negative thought patterns. I enjoy helping my clients challenge their thoughts and behaviors while utilizing their strengths to navigate life's circumstances in a more healthy and positive manner. My goal is to create an environment of safety for my clients. I am casual, approachable, and tend to use humor to bring context to situations. I want to convey a sense of comfort in a nonjudgmental environment where clients can kick off their shoes, put up their feet, and exhale a sigh of relief.
