About My Clients
I am thrilled that you found me! It's your path — you know you best. You are holding the map and saying where to go — I help you navigate, process, unpack, grow and heal. I will meet you where you're at as we work to make connections, identify patterns and reframe old stories that do not serve you. I am also certified in somatic and attachment focused EMDR & approach all treatment through a trauma-informed, systemic, anti-oppression lens.
My Background and Approach
I will help you create healthy coping skills and stand with you as you become empowered and grow — and change. Healing begins when you are heard and seen. You deserve to feel better. I promise to be fully present. There are many internal and external intersections with mental wellness — no topics are off limits. Beyond fear is freedom. You are not broken. You are a badass. You have survived 100% of your worst days. You want to feel better and feel content. Sometimes we will laugh, sometimes we may cry. In it all, it’s simply an honor to stand with you. Radical authenticity and human connection is EVERYTHING. If you are seeking a therapist that quietly nods a lot and asks, “How do you feel about that?” I am not the one for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
When I’m not working, you can find me spending time with my teenage son and our Goldendoodle (that believes he is really a cat.) I’ll also be reading, eating so much cheese and hiking in the woods to re-set and recharge. I have been engaged in racial and social justice activism and advocacy work for 20 years. As a white woman and therapist, I acknowledge and recognize my privilege, and have made it part of my mission to work in support of marginalized communities. I believe that we are all connected. I offer a non-judgmental, safe space in which healing and transformation can happen.
