About My Clients
My clients are often adults who have experienced trauma or are navigating concerns such as transitions into parenthood, depression, anxiety, or interpersonal issues. I utilize a combination of approaches to help process painful experiences, explore new coping strategies, and increase resources to help you heal.
My Background and Approach
I received my Masters in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis in 2013, and since then I have worked in a variety of community health and mental health settings. During this time, I have pursued continuing education in trauma-informed, attachment-based modalities. I am EMDR Certified & have completed 3 years of training with the Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute. I specialize in perinatal mental health, trauma, mood concerns, & attachment wounds. I have a pursued extensive training in other modalities such as Internal Family Systems, CBT & Trauma-Focused CBT, & Attachment, Self-Regulation and Competency (ARC).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the innate capacity and sacred art of healing through connection- connection with others and connection within ourselves. I am passionate about providing a space that feels safe and soothing where you can feel seen and heard without judgment or feeling the need to say or do “the right thing.” My approach is holistic, collaborative, and tailored to individual needs. I invite you to email or call me for a free 15 minute consultation to see if I may be a good fit for your needs.
