About My Clients
I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addictive disorders, and family stress. I support young adults, professionals, members of the Latino/a community, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, immigrants, and those facing housing instability. I provide a structured yet warm therapeutic space where clients can build coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and work toward realistic, meaningful goals.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling with a minor in Addictive Disorders and a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico. My clinical experience includes supporting individuals impacted by trauma, substance use, family conflict, and systemic challenges. My therapeutic style combines structure with empathy. I integrate mindfulness-based strategies, person-centered care, and systems perspectives to help clients understand the broader contexts shaping their lives. I focus on practical tools, emotional regulation, and achievable goal-setting while honoring multicultural and diverse lived experiences. I strive to create an ethically grounded, culturally responsive environment where clients feel safe, understood, and supported.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing happens when individuals feel seen, heard, and respected within their full cultural and personal context. Growth is possible when therapy provides both structure and compassion. I aim to offer a stable space where clients can explore emotions, strengthen resilience, and develop practical strategies for change. Whether navigating trauma, addiction, or life transitions, I work collaboratively with clients toward sustainable progress. If you are ready to begin your journey toward balance and wellbeing, I would be honored to support you.
