About My Clients
You may be frustrated with your child's behaviors, emotional reactions, or want to develop a stronger relationship with your child. This is where therapy comes in to play. Attending therapy at a young age has been shown to improve self-confidence, overall mood, and social skills. Your child will learn to strengthen vital skills such as emotional regulation, effective communication, assertiveness, empathy, and self-awareness.
My Background and Approach
I have experience working in the school system and with the foster care system. I have a certification in trauma which helps aid me with specific tools to use with your child. By utilizing a strength-based and trauma focused approach, I can help process through your child’s emotions and achieve progress to reach their goals. Therapy should be fun and engaging for your child, so I often incorporate play and art. A good therapy session always involves a smile or laugh, and it may involve an empowering cry as well. My goal is for your child to feel heard, seen, and validated. Life is stressful, and we all need help from time to time.
