About My Clients
Are you struggling to deeply connect in your relationships? Are you going through infertility challenges? Are you a new parent, or soon-to-be one? Do you have anxiety or depression? The anticipation of starting therapy can be the hardest part, but my goal is to create a space for you each week where we can talk through your concerns at your own pace and together figure out a path forward.
My Background and Approach
I am therapist in New York with 12+ years of clinical experience. I earned my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from New York University in 2012. Prior to returning to private practice full-time, I worked in various clinical settings including non-profit community mental health and spent many years managing teams of therapists and building evidence-based therapeutic programs to support local communities across NYC. My approach is rooted in Psychodynamic Therapy, which focuses on increasing self-awareness and understanding of how one's history and past experiences impact present behaviors. I also utilize cognitive behavioral therapy and breathwork in combination to help clients understand the connection between thoughts, feeling and behaviors. My hope in working with you is that week to week you have a landing spot where you feel heard, understood and see concrete shifts.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm a mom of 2 young children, so I get it - "doing it all" and doing it well is hard! From juggling: work, schedules, your relationships and your own mental health, all while trying to be a good parent - it can be overwhelming. But I promise you are not alone - it is absolutely OKAY to ask for help.
