About My Clients
I have experience working in residential treatment centers, school settings, and community mental health agencies, which has prepared me to work with a variety of individuals with unique challenges. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. I enjoy working with clients who are struggling with addiction, depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, abuse, shame, identity, self-worth, anger issues, relationship issues, and faith related issues.
My Background and Approach
I believe that every person can overcome any challenges they face. I strive to create a safe and compassionate environment for clients to explore their difficulties and begin the healing process. I use a client centered approach to help clients discover their goals and then build on clients’ existing strengths to help them reach said goals. I have experience in treating the individual using evidenced-based treatment modalities, including motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness, and rational-emotive behavioral therapy. My goal is to empower my clients to take ownership of their healing journey and be able to experience life to its fullest.
