I offer parent coaching for when parents need a little extra help with behavior management, effective discipline strategies, sleep training, and emotional regulation. My goals is to form an encouraging and collaborative team with parents and children, while actively participating in achieving your goals.

I believe that marriage is the foundation of a strong family and I specialize in helping couples build on strengths, understand weaknesses, and rediscover their emotional connection with one another. I am a Prepare/Enrich facilitator for couples interested in premarital counseling. I have also completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and use this model, along with Emotionally Focused Therapy, in my work with couples.

I specialize in treating those who experience worry in all of its forms - whether it is social, phobia-related, general, or school avoidance, or all of the above! I understand how it feels to be consumed with feelings of chest-tightening, shallow-breathing, palm sweating anxiety, and my goal is to help you learn and implement ways to manage and reduce these symptoms so that they no longer rule your life. I utilize strategies from CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based, and solutions focused therapy.

My goal is to discover your goals for treatment, create a plan that works for you, and give you practical tools for achieving those goals. As this process unfolds, I will become obsolete as you become ready and able to implement the strategies learned and take positive steps to creating the life you desire.

The cycle of feelings and actions can be tragically endless, particularly when it results serious mental health problems. But if we can understand that our thoughts matter, and can truly affect how we feel and how we act, then we can truly transform this negative cycle and our outlook on life. Pairing this with a firm resolve to put our new perspective into action (whether we feel like it or not) can help us to be successful in overcoming much of what we fear and struggle through in life.
