About My Clients

Life can feel overwhelming and lack of sleep from anxiety can make that feeling stronger. You may be struggling to find joy in a new day and experiencing a lack of motivation for daily tasks. If you are struggling with your significant other and controlling your emotions. I am here to walk through this with you. I have experience working with clients who are experiencing Anxiety, Depression, Life Transitions, and Trauma. If you are an individual or couple located in Texas, reach out.

My Background and Approach

I graduated from Dallas Baptist University with my M.A. in Professional Counseling and B.A. in Psychology in May 2021. My education and clinical hours prepared me to work with you. I know that counseling techniques are not "one size fits all" so I operate from an eclectic approach. I will mainly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques in session but will use other techniques if it will be beneficial for you. I have experience working with individuals who are 18 or older and are adjusting to a new season of life, experiencing anxiety, depression, or trauma (specifically sexual trauma). This is a safe space for you to be yourself and work through areas that you might be keeping to yourself. There is nothing that you could say that would make me think differently of you. Our time together is for you to explore yourself and grow as a person.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I will not push my personal beliefs on you or bring them up in session unless you bring it up and it would not harm the therapeutic relationship. I am a Christian who believes the Bible is true. I believe God has gifted each of us in a way that helps others and the ultimate goal is to love others. I believe and practice grace, towards others and myself. I am also a firm believer that exercise (gardening, jogging, weightlifting, dancing, etc) can have a positive effect on your mental health. Spending time in green and blue spaces, as well as good sleep habits, can also have a positive effect on your mental health.
