About My Clients

I work with individuals, couples, and families who are looking to deepen their connection with themselves and those around them. With couples and families, I help co-create more meaningful connections by repairing patterns and wounds while restoring safety and security. With individuals, I support their journey toward deeper self-awareness and resiliency, empowering them to face life’s challenges with purpose and ease.

My Background and Approach

My clinical style is holistic in nature, blending traditional talk therapy with mindfulness and somatic practices to support your therapeutic experience. I am trauma-informed and utilize techniques grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman Method, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing. I view therapy as a collaborative process and care deeply about the strength of our therapeutic relationship. I believe one of the most gifting aspects of therapy is alleviating loneliness during our toughest times. As Rumi writes, “The wound is the place where the Light enters you.” My hope is to hold space for your "light" to illuminate.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Interconnectedness: I honor that individuals, couples, and families are interconnected systems, understanding that changes in one area of life often affect others. We are all wired for connection and connection is a primary need in human life. Integrating mind-body-spirit and mindfulness: I recognize the integral connection between mental, physical, and spiritual well-being in individuals and relationships. I encourage clients to cultivate present-moment awareness, fostering clarity and insight in their experiences. Nurturing growth and resiliency: I believe you are not broken, nor is your relationship or family broken. Together, we'll explore the strengths within you, your partnership, or your family. We will nurture growth and uncover pathways to renewed connection and fulfillment. Promoting authenticity and respecting cultural diversity: I value the diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and values of clients and integrate cultural sensitivity into therapeutic practices.
