My Background and Approach
My approach is direct, supportive, and grounded in respect for your individual experience. I draw from a range of evidence-based practices—including CBT, DBT, MBCT, and Compassion-Focused Therapy—tailoring each session to your needs. I also integrate elements of Motivational Interviewing, Strengths-Based and Solution-Focused approaches, Person-Centered care, Positive Psychology, and Trauma-Focused interventions to help you build on what’s working, develop practical skills, and create lasting, meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the ability to transform their life into what they want it to be. I've seen it firsthand, especially through my own journey with anxiety. For years, I struggled not only with the kind of anxiety most people experience but also anxiety that was medically-induced. Through therapy and self-work, I learned to manage it and regain control of my life. It's been a process, but I’m living proof that it’s possible to not just cope with anxiety but to move beyond it and create a life that feels more aligned with who I want to be. I’m also a proud ally to the LGBTQ community, and I actively support efforts that promote equality and acceptance.
