About My Clients
I work with teens and young adults, ages 14-24, who live in Michigan and Missouri. Through a strengths-based and integrative approach, we tackle the unique challenges of adolescence including identity formation, being LGBTQ+, relationships, sexual health, anxiety, depression, and more.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed social worker, and I specialize in working with teens and young adults. Through individual therapy, I’ll help you gain confidence, manage stress, and feel more prepared to take on what’s next in life. My approach is rooted in meeting teens and young adults where they are - meaning that first, I’ll work to fully understand who you are, where you’re coming from, and what you’re struggling with. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all so we will work together to make a plan for how I can best support YOU and all the unique experiences and identities that you hold. I specialize in the areas that impact teens and young adults the most including identity formation, being LGBTQ+, relationships, sexual health, and healthy social media use.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe young people deserve to be uniquely themselves. Unfortunately, there’s a lot that can get in the way of teens and young adults being able to grow and thrive in the ways they deserve. I know because I have been in the field of adolescent health and youth development for the past 12 years. During this time, I have worked with youth ages 14-24 on issues including relationships, identity, sexual health, life transitions, and so much more. I’ve also trained thousands of other youth-serving professionals how to do the same. I know that with the right support, teens and young adults can tackle the issues that impact them the most. Together, we’ll work through those things that get in the way of young people bringing their full unique, creative, passionate selves to the world.
