Whether you come individually or as a couple, we’ll explore the patterns, attachment needs, and communication dynamics shaping your relationships. Healing after affairs, navigating breakups, managing conflict, or addressing family wounds can feel overwhelming alone. Using Gottman and EFT approaches, I’ll support you in strengthening communication, setting meaningful boundaries, and creating relationships that feel secure, fulfilling, and built on a solid foundation.

I use attachment theory not only in my work with couples but also in my work with individuals. Learning about how we attach to our friends, significant others, and family members provides framework for how we approach the world around us. Focus on this area can vary depending on what your goals are, but we can use attachment theory to help you decipher relationship patterns and find areas where your attachment may be holding you back from having fulfilling relationships or getting your needs met

I blend models when working with couples and integrate each individual's past as well as what their goals are in the present. I learned about the STRONG Model for relationships from the founder of the model herself, and I believe that safety both physically and emotionally is the basis of any healthy couple. I combine this with EFT and the Gottman model to incorporate attachment styles, identify negative interaction patterns, and create space for change and depth in the relationship.

I don't believe in "one size fits all" therapy. We're all unique with a unique set of experiences and goals, and I treat approach each client that way. We work together to determine your goals, and then I use my skills to determine which treatment modalities would help you get there. For some, we use Narrative Therapy to tell your story and combine that with Ration Emotive Behavioral Therapy to combat any unhelpful thinking. My main modalities are narrative, REBT, and reality therapy.

Early relationships set the stage for the way that we connect to people as adults. Attachment issues can show up in ways like jealousy, trouble communicating feelings, feeling like other people don't want to be as close to you as you want to be to them, or struggling to let other people in. I use attachment to not only learn about how your past affected you, but to help you understand why you seek out relationships in the way that you do. Together, we can help you foster intimate relationships.

I've been working with couples since I began practicum during graduate school in 2021. I specialize in helping couples heal from infidelity, deepen their connection, and improve communication. I use the Gottman and STRONG models to inform my work with couples, incorporating attachment styles and helping couples find better patterns for communication. I can help you and your partner feel more connected and heard on big issues that keep popping up in your relationship.
