About My Clients

My work with clients involves addressing relational challenges, trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, internalized oppression, and systemic oppression. Healing begins when empathy is extended, first to your own journey and then to the world around you. I work with individuals, couples, and families of all orientations and identities to help create a better understanding of the self in relation to the world around you. It would be an honor to support you throughout your journey.

My Background and Approach

My approach is rooted in a humanistic and interpersonal approach supported by liberation, attachment, cognitive behavioral, dialetic theories. I believe you are the expert of your own life and I strive to provide a empathic welcoming, non-judgemental and culturally responsive safe space for you to discover a deeper comprehension of yourself. It is through examination of our lived experiences and perceptions that we can become more attuned with how we operate, respond, and live in this world and can facilitate healing for ourselves and in our relationships. I work with my clients to improve internal and relational communication through exploring different facets of your identity, trauma, relationships, societal, and systemic issues. I integrate my practice style with your goals for therapy in order to forge a treatment plan that honors your journey and embraces both your strengths and growth points.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that we all lose our way in life, I know that I have before, but it does not mean that we cannot find ourselves again with the proper growth mindset and willingness to embrace change. I believe that even the greatest of challenges can be overcome when we spend intention time relearning ways to inhabit our bodies, relationships, and our society. If you can learn to embrace the importance of compassion, empathy, curiosity, humility, listening, and healthy critique; then path to growth is set before you. Let us walk it together.
