About My Clients
I work with adolescents and adults experiencing Anxiety, Depression, grief and loss (Bereavement), as well as relationship issues, life transitions and more. In our work together I hope to provide a safe space for clients to explore the relationship they have with themselves and others. My hope is to increase client's ability to effectively utilize coping skills, incorporate healthy habits and decrease unwanted symptoms.
My Background and Approach
I use a holistic approach when working with clients. I enjoy utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Somatic work and the use of Yoga within therapy. These modalities help client's to incorporate tangible skills that they can use on a daily basis. Some examples are emotional regulation, distress tolerance, connecting both mind and body, utilizing a thought or feelings log and recognizing and changing unhelpful thought processes. I am whole-person focused and hope to learn more about client's habits, lifestyle, physical activity etc. in order to guide clients in making changes they desire most in life.
