About My Clients
I work with individuals and couples navigating the aftermath of infidelity and betrayal trauma. My clients are often high-achieving adults who feel blindsided by discovery of an affair and are struggling with intrusive thoughts, hypervigilance, emotional flooding, and loss of trust. Couples come to me when their relationship is in crisis after disclosure of infidelity, seeking a structured path toward healing or clarity about their future.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Master's degree in Counselor Education with a focus on Clinical Mental Health from the University of Central Florida and have over a decade of experience working with individuals, couples, and families across inpatient, residential, and outpatient levels of care. As Clinical Director at It Begins Within Healing Center for Tampa and St. Petersburg, I've developed expertise in trauma therapy and infidelity recovery through extensive specialized training. My approach is trauma-informed, strength-based, and directive. I don't believe in keeping you in therapy indefinitely—I use evidence-based methods designed to produce both immediate relief and lasting change. I'm formally trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which can significantly reduce trauma symptoms in just a few sessions, and I'm one of only two therapists in Florida trained in Systematic Affair Recovery Therapy (SART), a structured protocol specifically designed for couples healing after infidelity.
