About My Clients
Many of my clients are young adults, college students, graduate students, and working professionals who appear successful on the outside but feel overwhelmed on the inside. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, chronic stress, burnout, low motivation, self-doubt, or difficulty navigating life transitions. Together, we identify the patterns keeping them stuck, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.
My Background and Approach
Before becoming a therapist, I earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and once planned to attend medical school. But I found myself more drawn to the human stories behind illness, the emotions, struggles, and resilience that shape people’s lives. That curiosity led me to pursue mental health counseling, where I could blend evidence-based understanding with deep empathy and presence. Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals navigating loss, trauma, and life transitions, often while facing systemic challenges like housing instability, financial strain, or limited access to care. These experiences have shown me that healing isn’t just about managing symptoms; it’s about restoring safety, reclaiming voice, and reconnecting with meaning. This is one of my core beliefs in the therapeutic space: therapy should not only heal the individual but also honor the broader contexts of their life and identity.
