About My Clients
Most of my clients identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community, but my practice is inclusive and all are welcome! I am experienced in helping clients who are experiencing anxiety/depression, adult ADHD, life transitions/changes, trauma, infertility/reproductive journeys and family building, perinatal/pregnancy, postpartum struggles, new parenting, and relationship issues.
My Background and Approach
Welcome, I'm so glad you're here! I understand that coming to the conclusion that you may need therapy can be difficult. I view therapy as a safe space to process and discuss all of life's chaos. And let's face it, most of us can find benefit in that. My biggest goal as a therapist is to make sure that you get something out of the 50 minutes we spend together each week. I do that by tailoring my therapeutic approach individually to each client. What works for someone else may not be what works for you. We can figure out what works for you by collaborating your expertise on yourself and my expertise and training as a therapist. believe that a trusting therapeutic alliance along with self-compassion and desire for growth can be the monumental foundations for change in one's life. I offer hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays via telehealth only for GA, SC, OR, & FL residents. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward a healthier and happier life!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I strongly believe that lived experiences matter - having a therapist who “knows” is important. I am a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community and identify as lesbian. I am married to a woman and we have two children. I have been through the family building journey as a gestational parent and non-gestational parent. Being a lesbian, wife, and mother add to my lived experiences and make me uniquely qualified to support my clients in similar life circumstances.
