About My Clients
Life can feel incredibly heavy at times, and it can feel like it won't let up. You may be struggling with anxiety, trauma, or patterns that persist despite your best efforts. It might be hard to put into words what you're experiencing, whether you are new to therapy or not. You deserve a space where your symptoms aren't treated as a problem to be solved, but where you're seen as a person needing a safe place to land. My goal is to help you build the tools to navigate daily life with more ease.
My Background and Approach
I don’t believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach to healing. You are the expert on your own life; my role is to support you with curiosity, compassion, and thoughtful reflection. Being an eclectic therapist means I draw from a variety of tools to find what actually works for you. I am trained in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as CBT and ACT. I integrate these approaches thoughtfully to help us understand your patterns, process past experiences, and build a "toolbox" of effective coping skills. Together, we’ll adapt our work as your needs evolve, ensuring that therapy always feels purposeful and aligned with what matters most to you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It is so important to me that you feel entirely safe and respected in our work together. A foundational belief of mine is that people should be able to make choices over their own bodies, as long as they are not causing harm to someone else. You are the expert on your own life. My role is not to judge or direct you, but to offer a supportive, affirming space where your autonomy is always honored, and where you are met with radical acceptance exactly as you are.
