About My Clients
I work with women and men navigating maternal and paternal mental health, parenting challenges, grief, trauma, burnout, and major life transitions. I also work with adults and parents who are struggling with family dynamics, relationships, or the everyday reality of trying to raise children while still figuring themselves out.
My Background and Approach
My approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and grounded in the belief that understanding yourself is an important part of caring for the people you love. I work with adults navigating maternal and paternal mental health, pregnancy and postpartum experiences, parenting, family dynamics, life transitions, grief, trauma, and emotional burnout. Parenting can bring out parts of us we never knew were there—our fears, expectations, triggers, strengths, and even old wounds. Therapy can create space to understand those pieces instead of simply trying to push through them. For some people, that means preparing for the transition into parenthood. For others, it means finding their footing after a baby arrives, navigating the demands of parenting, or figuring out how to stay connected to themselves and their relationships along the way. My style is warm, direct, and conversational. I’ll offer structure and perspective when you need it, while giving you room to show up honestly.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can be honest about what life actually looks like—not just what you or others think it should look like. I believe there is no perfect way to be a parent, and not a single one of us has it all figured out. Becoming a parent can bring out parts of ourselves we never expected, and I believe those moments can create opportunities for deeper understanding rather than shame or judgment. I value genuine connection, curiosity, and creating a space where people feel safe enough to be themselves. My hope is that therapy feels both nurturing and useful—a place where you can slow down, understand yourself more deeply, and find a way forward that feels like your own. There are lots of tough moments in session, but all I am willing to walk with you through to relief and deeper understanding.
