About My Clients

Do you find yourself feeling frustrated at the mismatch between your desired outcomes or goals and the actual steps you can take on a day to day basis? This may be in regards to building motivation or better understanding and coping with various mental health challenges. Maybe your feelings feel really intense and they perpetuate cycles of self doubt, or you notice that fear grabs hold of you and won't let go. I'm here to help you better understand these patterns and take steps to change them.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received my BA in Psychology & Sociology from the University of Connecticut and then went on to get my MSW at NYU. I have specialized my practice in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma, and mindfulness practices. I have completed additional training in CBT, psychedelic-assisted therapy, trauma-focused care, couple’s counseling, and mindfulness practices. Throughout my career, I have focused on empowering individuals in a variety of settings and circumstances in order to help them instill confidence and decrease symptomology in taking their desired next steps. I have noted experience working with clients going through life transitions and coping with the associated stressors and symptoms. I utilize my experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you identify what may be holding you back as well as what you might need to mobilize going forward.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that change is always possible but it is up to you to evaluate what is and is not worth it for you when determining next steps. Therapy with me provides an open and honest space to explore this while better understanding your own needs and values, and how to live in line with them going forward. In my personal and professional life I live values of equality and equity for all, promoting social justice, amplifying voices of marginalized communities, challenging toxic body image standards, and always working towards building and promoting better empathy and understanding of others.
