About My Clients
You may be someone who feels ready (a part of you may be nervous, but ready) to stop repeating old patterns and find a way to heal your nervous system. I welcome you to our session, where we develop real tools to heal your hurt. I work with teens (13+) & adults seeking deeper, trauma-informed care through somatic work, EMDR, & parts-based therapy. I offer unconditional positive regard, cultural humility, and open, honest dialogue, with safety and authentic connection at the center of our work.
My Background and Approach
My path into this work has been shaped by years of supporting individuals & families through trauma, substance use, and complex emotional pain. I previously led a family program focused on breaking generational cycles and strengthening connection, and I’ve worked closely with clients during high-risk and deeply vulnerable seasons of life. Today, as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) trained in trauma-informed interventions, I integrate EMDR, parts-based therapy, and holistic approaches to support healing that is both gentle & transformative. I have a special passion for working with trauma, mood challenges, identity stress, relationship patterns, grief, substance use, & life transitions. Clients often share that they feel truly seen & emotionally safe in our work together. With me, you will experience a collaborative space where your voice matters, one where I meet you exactly where you are at with compassion and understanding.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am passionate about social justice, equity, and creating spaces where everyone can thrive. Studying psychology and criminal justice fueled my understanding of how systems shape mental health, identity, and opportunity. One of my focuses during college was a research study about incarceration recidivism, where social justice became more than just a topic I learned about in my studies. Volunteering with a peer-led crisis hotline reinforced my belief in the power of being fully heard and supported -- along with the value of all individuals having access to safe crisis services. I actively support LGBTQ+ and gender-diverse communities, intersectional feminism, anti-racism, and the belief that diversity is a strength. I value people embracing their unique differences and using them to learn from each other. In therapy, I aim to provide a safe, affirming, and collaborative space where clients are respected as the experts of their own lived experience.
