About My Clients

You might be overthinking conversations, pulling back from relationships when things get hard, or struggle to ask for what you need (and then feel guilty when you do). There's an inner voice that says you are failing and you feel anxious about not getting it right. You are tired of isolating and really want to feel confident that you are enough. Together, we'll transform the areas that are stuck, practice real-life skills, and ease the anxiety and doubt that are in the way.

My Background and Approach

I work with people who feel overwhelmed and stuck in their lives because of anxiety, depression and a low self-esteem. We'll build self-compassion by exploring how your anxiety, low self esteem, and your not self-at-best moments are side effects of your best attempts at navigating overwhelming situations on your own. We'll slow down and make sense of your inner world, gently challenging the strategies that are no longer helpful and give you space to rediscover who you are.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that we heal and transform in human relationships and in community. I will NOT be a blank slate, I am emotionally present and attuned to you. All emotions (even the scary ones) are welcomed in a way and at a pace that is tolerable. My goal is to undo your aloneness with the hard things in life so there will be a lot of grounding, checking in, and choice in your treatment. I am a big reader of fantasy romance (whose ready for ACOTAR 6 and 7!?), passionate about suicide prevention, and work hard to ensure all people are seen in the big moments and small.
