About My Clients
Constant low-spoon days, chronic fatigue, a sense of impending doom, or questions around identity may be what brought you here today. You’ve been doing the best you can, but something isn’t working anymore. You don’t have to keep carrying it alone. I’m Kailey, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Certified Art therapist. I specialize in working with chronic illness, LGBTQIA+ clients, and trauma.
My Background and Approach
I help people using a blend of art therapy and DBT-informed skills. Through guided creative work, we slow things down, make emotions and patterns easier to work with, and build tools for regulation, without relying on the “right” words. The process is intentional, supportive, and paced with care. You don’t need to be artistic or know exactly what to say to start. Therapy with me is collaborative and paced with care, focused on creating a space that feels contained and supportive rather than overwhelming. If you’re looking for a creative, structured approach to therapy that meets you where you are, I invite you to reach out.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My approach is grounded in both evidence-based therapy and personal meaning-making. I’m pagan and moon-attuned, and I work with tarot as a reflective, symbolic tool. Less “fortune telling,” more a way to explore inner narratives and values. I’m asexual and bi-romantic, and I’m committed to affirming, identity-respecting care. I also live with chronic illness, which informs how I think about energy, pacing, grief, and self-trust. I believe healing happens through small, honest practices, creative process, and a relationship where you don’t have to translate yourself to be understood.
