As a trauma informed therapist, I focus on creating your trauma narrative by giving voice and clarity to your unique experience. As an EDMR trained therapist, I am able to witness the powerful transformation with my clients through expedited growth and healing.

Using a faith-based perspective, I focus on combining clinically proven counseling methods with Christian conviction and biblical insight. CBT seeks to identify and uproot these cognitive distortions (automatic destructive thought patterns) and reconstruct them into positive ones, leading to change in behavior and mood.

As a Gottman Method-trained therapist, I strive to utilize research-based assessment and techniques through this scientifically sound approach to identify and strengthen areas of weakness in couples and families. In this therapy, the focus is on emotion, skill-building for managing conflict, developing new skills for enhancing friendship, and helping couples create a system of shared meaning together.

I have completed an EDMR training based on my passion for integrating evidence-based models for trauma recovery into my practice. In short, EMDR reactivates different parts of disturbing memories and allows the brain to reprocess these experiences into positive ones. Utilizing this model in my practice has allowed me to witness the powerful transformation with my clients through expedited growth and healing related to trauma or distressing experiences.
