About My Clients
Do you feel like you’re always trying to do more, be better, or keep everyone happy—but it’s still not enough? I work with teens and adults navigating perfectionism, people-pleasing, anxiety, stress, body image, disordered eating, chronic guilt, and difficulty slowing down. If you’re tired of putting pressure on yourself and ready to feel more confident, compassionate, and connected to what you actually want, therapy can help, and I'd be honored to be a part of your growth process.
My Background and Approach
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. I draw from CBT, ACT, ERP, and humanistic therapy to help you understand your patterns, build practical tools, and create meaningful change. Together, we can work on managing overwhelm and overstimulation, reconnecting with yourself and your needs, and developing a healthier relationship with your body and self. I also help clients untangle perfectionism, people-pleasing, and the pressure to constantly do more, while learning that putting yourself first can be an act of empowerment—not selfishness. Therapy isn’t about changing who you are. It’s about creating more space to be yourself, trust yourself, and build a life that feels genuinely yours.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It's an interesting time to be a therapist, and I have found that it's becoming increasingly important to my clients to know where I stand on certain issues. I think our current administration sucks and I empathize with you on the difficulties and atrocities that have come with that. I have attended the No Kings protest and go to Pride events. I'm passionate about social justice, and I aim to create a therapeutic space where my clients feel safe to discuss their beliefs, even if they are different than mine. I do not consider myself religious, but I have seen faith be powerful in people's lives. Perhaps most importantly, I believe that there is good in everyone and that we all have the capacity for change. Seeing news updates makes me want to scream and cry; I try to stay up to date and educated, and sometimes I have to tap out for my own well-being. I'm a therapist, but I'm also just a person experiencing all of this with you.
