About My Clients

You're high-achieving, capable, and used to being the strong one but inside you are tired. You feel guilty when you rest and anxious when you slow down. Family pressure, cultural expectations, and anxiety keep you stuck in over drive. You want to stop feeling tense and overwhelmed and start feeling calm, confidence, and aligned with yourself. You don't need fixing.... you need the space to unpack what is causing the anxiety and finally choose yourself without guilt. I can help you get there.

My Background and Approach

I used to believe my worth came from doing everything for others and being the perfect person for everyone. But I was losing myself in the process and only creating more anxiety inside. So I learned to push through, ignore my needs, and put everyone else first all while burning myself out. Like many of my clients I felt lost, stuck, and anxious. Here’s what changed. I started taking a pause and asked myself what I needed. I began listening to my needs, giving myself grace, and being kinder to myself instead of putting everyone before me. That shift changed everything. And now, I help my clients do the same. I lead with honesty, inclusivity, patience, understanding, curiosity, and collaboration. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up fully as yourself. My role isn’t to tell you who to be. It’s to walk beside you as we explore your experiences, understand your patterns, and create meaningful change together at a pace that feels safe and supportive for you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing happens when people feel seen, safe, and understood without having to explain their culture, identity, or lived experience. My work is rooted in supporting high-achieving women of color who are navigating anxiety, generational trauma, and the pressure to always be strong. I value honesty, self-awareness, and helping clients make decisions that feel truly aligned with who they are not just what’s expected of them. I am deeply committed to culturally responsive care, social justice, and creating spaces where conversations about race, identity, family dynamics, and emotional well-being are welcomed and respected. Outside of therapy, I continue to learn, reflect, and engage in work that supports mental health access and equity for marginalized communities.
