Hello! I am a neuroqueer therapist who provides affirming and supportive therapy to help you reach your goals

Licensed Master of Social Work in New York, NY

About My Clients

While I see people of all identities, I specialize in seeing youth and adults at the intersection of LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and disabled experiences. A lot of my clients have had their needs pathologized or inadequately supported, including in therapy. I work with them to find accessible ways to address anxiety, trauma, and/or depression that aren't overwhelming or harmful. If you need someone who is collaborative, flexible, and will meet you where you are, this is the space for you.

My Background and Approach

My therapeutic approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and collaborative. In my practice, I often pull from ACT, parts work, narrative therapy, and existential therapy. I have training around IFS, exposure therapy, mindfulness, and treating trauma, as well as a deep knowledge of executive functioning, neurodivergent cognition, and sensory processing that I often use to help clients understand their experiences and support. Using these tools, I help clients with goals ranging from working out how to get basic tasks in their life done to decreasing anxiety to working out big questions around identity or purpose. This often can involve working through old narratives or trauma around identity, ability, or your relationships with others, which we can do at a pace that works for you. I have a Masters of Social Work and a Masters of Public Health from New York University and a Bachelor of the Arts from Rutgers University.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a queer, trans, and auDHD clinician, my work is grounded in the principles of disability justice and anti-oppressive frameworks that center your bodily autonomy and personal agency. I operate with the understanding that you are the expert of your own experience. I also understand the many forms of systemic oppression can contribute to mental health, but that within that we can still take steps to improve out well-being. Outside of my current clinical role, I act as a social worker in work-based learning programs at Tech Unlimited and a workshop facilitator at Autistic Adults NYC. Prior to becoming a clinician, I, like many neurodivergent folks, had a winding professional path that included work in neuroscience, epigenetic, and public health research, copywriting, and afterschool educational programs. Outside of work, I enjoy singing, writing poetry, deep diving into my special interests, and listening to whatever book seems most appealing from the Queer Liberation Library.
