About My Clients
My areas of focus are children ages 5–12, childhood trauma, anxiety and emotional regulation, adjustment to life changes (school, family transitions, stressors), and parenting education and behavior modification. I also provide couples therapy using the Gottman Method, along with supporting parents in working as a unified team. Clients often describe me as warm, intuitive, and easy to trust. I take time to truly understand what’s happening beneath the surface.
My Background and Approach
I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative, respectful, and hopeful. I honor the strengths that already exist within children, parents, and couples, while offering skilled guidance to help things feel more manageable and connected. With children, sessions are engaging, supportive, and developmentally appropriate. I gently help them build emotional awareness, coping skills, and a sense of safety using Play Therapy. With parents, I focus on education and practical strategies so you feel confident responding to behaviors with clarity and consistency rather than frustration or guesswork. In couples work, I offer a balanced space that feels both compassionate and structured. Using Gottman techniques, we work on communication, emotional connection, and teamwork — especially important for couples navigating the added stress of parenting. My goal is to help you feel more connected, supported, and aligned as a family system.
