About My Clients
Life doesn’t have to be in crisis to feel overwhelming. Sometimes it’s the accumulation of stress, loss, illness, responsibility, or experiences that were never fully healed. If that’s where you find yourself, you’re in the right place. I help adults across Minnesota navigate trauma, grief and loss, chronic illness, and major life transitions.
My Background and Approach
During therapy, we’ll work to understand what’s keeping you stuck, calm your nervous system, make sense of your patterns, and create changes that actually last. I also incorporate somatic approaches when they’re a good fit. Humor is welcome here, too, because healing can be meaningful AND human. I am a relational therapist and use several clinical modalities, such as: CBT, EMDR, IFS, nervous-system based somatic therapy, motivational interviewing and strengths-based solution-focused short term therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Outside of work, I’m a wife, mom, dog lover, and happiest when I’m spending time in nature or getting lost in a good book. I am a grief & loss survivor and part of the chronic illness community. If you’re wondering whether we’d be a good fit, I’d love to talk.
