Over the years, I've come to focus my time and practice on working with LGBTQQIA2S+, queer, trans, and gender nonconforming folx. I find that our work together and building a relationship feel more at ease, relatable, and generally a mixture of challenging, empathetic, and mutually enjoyable.
My Background and Approach
My work is grounded in Relational-Cultural Theory (RCT). I approach the therapeutic relationship with mutual empathy and genuine regard for your experience and history. I believe the creative process offers a way to be known; neither explained nor analyzed, but seen.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe change and meeting goals is a real and possible thing through the power of the therapeutic relationship. Gentle understanding, radical acceptance, and being deeply, truly seen by another is a transformative space.
