About My Clients
I have had the privilege of working with clients from all walks of life. Some are seeking support in their relationships, while others have had depression or anxiety. Clients sometimes reach out because they are overwhelmed or feeling hopeless. Together, we identify the challenges and work towards building healthier coping mechanisms and developing skills and positive thought patterns. It's gratifying to see clients rediscover joy, build resilience, and confidently manage life's challenges.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, active listening, and creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can express yourself freely. I believe that every person has the capacity for growth, and my goal is to collaborate with you to build the tools and insights needed to lead a more balanced and fulfilling life. I have an eclectic strengths-based approach to therapy; each client is unique, and my sessions are uniquely tailored. I use many modalities in my sessions: psychodynamic, cognitive behavior therapy, existential, motivational, and narrative therapy. I believe in using a strengths-based approach to work with individuals, couples, and families to address a wide range of mental health concerns.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Whether you're dealing with stress, facing relationship challenges, or navigating deeper emotional issues, I'm here to support you through the process of healing and self-discovery. Therapy is a partnership; together, we'll work towards lasting change that enhances your mental well-being. I hold an MA in Mental Health Counseling from Yeshiva University and an MS.Ed. from Fordham University. My education has prepared me to provide evidence-based, trauma-informed care to my clients, keeping the goals in sight as we work together. If you're ready to take the first step, please reach out for a consultation. I'm here to help you feel seen, heard, and supported in your journey.
