About My Clients
I have provided therapy for a variety of individuals struggling with mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, eating disorder, self esteem issues, relationship problems, trauma history, difficulties managing stress, etc. I have been working in the helping profession for over 10 years and truly enjoy the work I do. I believe in creating a safe space for people to fully express themselves and their struggles so we can work together to enhance quality of life.
My Background and Approach
My treatment philosophy is rooted in empowerment based techniques focusing on healing and self worth. I like a positive, holistic approach to therapy. I think it is important to find balance in your life, and it starts with improving self-esteem and implementing good self care. I believe in your ability to heal. I am compassionate, patient, and supportive. My main priority is to truly hear my clients and to help them feel validated and encouraged to meet their goals. and make the changes they wish to see.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have strong social work ethics and beliefs. Outside of providing therapy, I also work as a teaching professor in the social work department at UW Green Bay. I believe in education and promoting health and wellness at any stage of life.
