I support each client in developing a more mindful sense of self-awareness, living core values, bringing internal strengths to light, and ultimately building a more meaningful, satisfying life. My strengths-based approach is strongly informed by relational, humanistic, and attachment theory, and often includes co-created metaphors as vehicles for understanding.
Attachment challenges often stem from a lack of satisfactory attachments early in life. Through a psychodynamic lens, I support clients in processing early relationships and creating links between past and present.
My generalist training has focused on a wide array of issues, but adjustment difficulties have been a common thread. I have focused on helping clients develop the coping resources to navigate a life in which change is constant and intrinsic to one's process. In my work, processing fears about growing and changing is essential to finding more adaptive ways to function, and ultimately thrive, in the world.
