My Background and Approach
I am a Doctor of Clinical Sexology, Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Supervisor, and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. My practice is grounded in depth psychology and guided by curiosity, authenticity, and a direct yet compassionate approach. I’m not a “nod and smile” kind of therapist. I’ll sit with you in the hard places, offer honest reflections, and gently challenge you along the way. Clients often tell me they feel both safe and encouraged to grow in our work together. Therapy with me is holistic - we’ll look not just at your emotions, but also at your body, your relationships, and how you make sense of your experiences. Together, we’ll work on understanding your needs and desires, exploring patterns, and cultivating new ways of thinking and being in the world so you can live a more fulfilled and _______ life. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m a proud member of the LBGTQAI+ community and an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist who celebrates all human differences. I believe everyone has the capacity to transform challenges into opportunities for growth and I support in this with a nonjudgmental, authentic approach. I’m an insight-oriented therapist, who focuses on client's past relationships/experiences to deepen self-awareness and create meaningful change. I’m here to support you with all things sexual health - relationships, gender, sexual orientation, porn use, kink/BDSM, alt lifestyles, sexual dysfunction & more. I also believe therapy should feel personal, not just clinical. When I’m not in session, you might find me jogging around the streets of Santa Barbara, curled up with a good book, cooking for loved ones, cheering on my favorite sports teams, or spending time with my nieces and nephews. I love these simple, everyday moments of life - they remind me to slow down and notice what really matters to me.
