About My Clients
I work best with people tired of surviving by becoming smaller—through addiction, trauma, or years of stress. My clients are often the responsible one, the black sheep, or the high performer who knows the old way of living is costing too much. They don’t need a lecture. They need a place where they can tell the truth without it being used against them.
My Background and Approach
I’m an LCSW in New Mexico and Texas with a background in addiction, trauma, and recovery-focused work with individuals and groups. I hold an MSW from Tulane, a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern, and I’m currently pursuing an MHA at Ohio University. My approach is person-centered and mindfulness-based, but in practice it’s simple: we tell the truth about what’s not working, pay close attention to what actually helps, and work toward a life that feels steadier, freer, and more like your own. Right now, I’m private pay only, with a few sliding-scale spots available.
My Values as a Therapist
My job isn’t to fix you. It’s to meet you as an equal, be honest about what’s happening, and help you build a life that feels calmer, more manageable, and actually like your own—not just less on fire. I don’t see people as problems to solve. I see people who’ve had to survive things, adapt fast, and keep going in systems that often treated them without much dignity. To me, therapy is a place where your whole experience gets to be real, your dignity stays intact no matter what, and you get to live from something lighter than survival.
