About My Clients

Whether you are thinking about opening your relationship or are struggling with the changes, I can help you figure out what works best for you. Through counseling, you can gain the ability to: clearly define your relationship, set boundaries, navigate conflict, advocate for your own needs, openly discuss insecurities and joys, and read your partner's mind (kidding about this one). Open relationships can be tough, but you don't have to do it alone.

My Background and Approach

I’m a master’s level clinician and independent contractor at Our Whole Living Counseling. I am under the supervision of Jamie Hogan, MA, LPC, NCC, PA License No. PC006203, while I pursue licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor. My past experience includes working at the LGBTQ+ Resource Center at Kutztown University for 3 years, where I helped to create safe spaces and educate people across the campus community. I work with individuals, couples, and consensually non-monogamous relationship members who want to build and maintain strong foundations. I also see individuals with: Anxiety Depression Low self-esteem Motivation and productivity issues I believe that counseling should be relatable, not stuffy. You bring your story, I'll bring some tools, and we'll take a deep dive to see what's really going on for you. I work to help you make connections to the past and your emotions so that you can better understand why things are coming up for you now and chart a new path.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Advocacy is part of what I do. It is often said that to be queer and merely exist is to be political. I'm not afraid to say "gay" or that Black Lives Matter, as a person or a counselor. I have spent years learning how to be an ally and training others on how to support LGBTQIA+ people and people of color. I understand the systemic nature of privilege and oppression and the difference between equality and equity. And I stay aware of legal realties and social stigmas people face in their day-to-day lives. If you want a counselor who understands the ways in which the world is messed up, I'm here for you.
