Whether you’re a parent worried about your child’s behavior or an adult carrying the weight of past trauma, therapy can help you reconnect with calm, clarity, and joy. I help clients of all ages in overcoming trauma, anxiety, and stress using evidence-based approaches like EMDR and play therapy.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - Supervisor, National Certified Counselor, Registered Play Therapist - Supervisor (RPT-S™), Certified AutPlay Therapy Provider, and Approved Clinical Supervisor. I am EMDR Trained and currently pursuing additional Continuing Education and Consultation to become EMDR Certified. I am highly skilled at working with both children and adults and am most adept at helping clients who are experiencing anxiety and have a history of trauma. I also have extensive experience working with clients who have Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or other neurodivergence as well as those with intellectual/developmental disabilities. I am also very interested in working with clients who identify as LGBTQ+.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all humans are capable of growing toward their full potential when given the tools, opportunity, and space to do so. My goals for therapy are to provide you with a space to feel seen, heard, and understood. I believe: - Love is love. - Trans rights are human rights. - Black Lives Matter. - All bodies are good bodies. - All people should have autonomy over their own bodies. - No human is “illegal.” - Science is real (and can co-exist with faith). - Kindness is key. - There is ALWAYS hope.
