About My Clients
I primarily have worked with children, teens, and young adults, supporting them through the emotional, relational, and identity related challenges that often come with these stages of life. I also work with parents and caregivers as part of supporting younger clients, helping strengthen understanding, communication, and connection.
My Background and Approach
I have experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as clients with trauma histories and co-occurring mental health needs. I provide therapy for concerns including: * Anxiety and chronic stress * Depression and mood challenges * Self esteem, confidence, and identity exploration * Emotional regulation and coping skills * Trauma and PTSD * Relationship, family, and communication challenges * Behavioral concerns and skill building * Support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities My background includes school based services, community mental health, outpatient therapy, and leadership within behavioral health programs, which allows me to approach care with flexibility, collaboration, and an understanding of the systems that impact young people. My approach to therapy is client centered, trauma informed, and strengths based.
