About My Clients
My primary areas of focus with adults are Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), intrusive thoughts and mental compulsions, anxiety, avoidance, and reassurance-seeking, and building tolerance for uncertainty and distress. When working with children, I focus on OCD and anxiety-related behaviors, fears, rituals, and reassurance patterns, emotional regulation and flexibility, adjustment to stress, change, or transitions, and social and developmental concerns.
My Background and Approach
I work best with adults who are tired of being caught in OCD cycles and are ready to change their relationship with intrusive thoughts and urges. You don’t need to feel fully ready or confident—just willing to take gradual, supported steps toward facing fears and reducing compulsions. For children, I work well with families who want an active, collaborative approach. Parents and caregivers are an essential part of ERP, and I help families learn how to respond to OCD in ways that support lasting progress at home and beyond. Clients often describe me as steady, encouraging, and easy to talk to. I balance compassion with structure, using ERP to guide you through facing fears step by step while reducing compulsive responses. Therapy is not about eliminating thoughts—it’s about changing how you respond to them so they have less power over your life. If you’re looking for a therapist who is calm, structured, and experienced in treating OCD with evidence-based methods, we may be a good fit.
