I am a Certified Gottman Therapist (CGT) amd I am sometimes hired by The Gottman Institute to consult on sex and sexuality. The other 3 therapists in our practice - Dan Fajans, Paige Geisinger and John Buscher - are all fully trained in the Gottman approach to therapy.
For over 17 years I have helped individuals with anxiety, stress, depression, self-esteem and many other challenges using mindfulness-based approaches. I am well-trained and well-read in using the power of mindfulness skills to address these issues, and I empower my clients to be able to treat themselves using proven and effective mindfulness techniques. Even if clients never meditate, mindfulness skills can absolutely be used and taught to immediately begin to help clients to help themselves.
The four therapists in our practice - Dan Fajans, Paige Geisinger, John Buscher and myself - are all well-trained in multiple methods of couples/relationship therapy. These approaches include the Gottman Method, Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), Family Systems Theory, Prepare & Enrich (for pre-marital therapy), and Strengths-Based Perceptive. Each of us see around 25 clients each week, most of whom are couples of all genders, orientations, and relationship arrangements.
