Many of us treat ourselves much differently and hold ourselves to standards we'd never apply to a friend or loved one. Often the harsh self-criticism someone experiences is internalized from other people, who simply shouldn't have that much power. Let's dive deeper and figure out how this came to be, but also find a path forward that is something you can be proud of.

Many times partners come to couples therapy because they're frustrated. They can't understand why they and their partner argue about trivial matters, or wonder if they can ever be truly understood. Sometimes there's a roadblock where one (or both) of the partners feels like their needs just aren't getting met, raising questions about the future.
