About My Clients

I work best with adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship difficulties, life transitions, identity, and the lingering effects of difficult experiences. Many of my clients feel stuck in familiar patterns, disconnected from themselves or others, or unsure why certain struggles keep repeating. I especially enjoy working with people who are curious about themselves and want therapy to be a place for deeper understanding, not simply symptom management.

My Background and Approach

I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student completing my internship and working under supervision. Before entering the counseling field, my professional background included military service, security work, and community-based helping roles—experiences that shaped my appreciation for resilience, relationships, identity, and the many ways people adapt to difficult circumstances. My approach is relational and collaborative, drawing from psychodynamic, attachment, narrative, and family systems perspectives. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I’m interested in understanding how your experiences, relationships, and patterns have shaped the way you move through the world. I have particular interests in anxiety, depression, ADHD, neurodivergence, relationship concerns, identity, and life transitions. My goal is to offer a space where you can feel understood, explore what may be keeping you stuck, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy should be a place where people can bring the fullness of who they are without feeling pressured to fit into a particular mold. I value curiosity, authenticity, compassion, and respect for the ways culture, relationships, identity, and lived experience shape each of us. My own path has included military service, graduate education in counseling, and community work, including volunteering with Scarlet Road, an organization supporting individuals impacted by sexual exploitation. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to meeting people with dignity rather than judgment. I strive to offer an affirming and inclusive space for people of diverse identities, backgrounds, relationships, and ways of experiencing the world. I also value neurodiversity and helping people better understand themselves rather than viewing differences as problems that need to be fixed.
